Courtney Halverson Biography
Courtney Halverson is successfully building a diverse acting career. She has appeared in HBO's hit series Big Love which was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Series, guest starred on the CBS show Ghost Whisperer, and starred in the Hallmark Channel movie Love Finds a Home.
In 2009 Courtney received an invitation for the prestigious Sundance Directors Lab at the Sundance Institute in Utah. There she worked closely with a group of mentors including Ed Harris, Alfre Woodard, Caleb Deschanel and Catherine Hardwicke.
Halverson's real passion is working on Indie films. She starred in the feature film Godspeed, an intense thriller filmed entirely in Alaska. Reviewers have called the film "one of the best Indie Films of the year".
Halverson also appeared in the MTV series Death Valley in 2011. She also made an appearance in HBO's True Detective.
