Mike Wolfe is an American television personality, entrepreneur, author, and preservationist recognized as the creator and star of the History Channel series "American Pickers." Wolfe's focus on uncovering forgotten treasures and preserving American history shaped his career in antiques and collectibles, turning a lifelong interest into a prominent reality television program. Beginning his picking journey at age six, Wolfe worked professionally for more than two decades, including time as a competitive bicycle racer and owner of two bike shops, before dedicating himself fully to picking. He traveled extensively across the United States, covering thousands of miles each year in search of rare finds.

Wolfe gained national attention with the debut of "American Pickers," a show he developed and pitched to networks over several years before it was acquired by History Channel. The series quickly became a ratings success, with Wolfe serving as creator, executive producer, and co-host.
