ROSÉ Biography
ROSÉ, born Roseanne Park, is a New Zealand–South Korean singer best known as the main vocalist of the K-pop group BLACKPINK. Raised in Australia, she developed a passion for music early on and joined YG Entertainment in 2012 after a standout audition. Following four years of training, she debuted with BLACKPINK in 2016, quickly rising to global fame.
ROSÉ made her solo debut in 2021 with the single album R, featuring the hit “On the Ground,” which topped the Billboard Global 200. In 2024, she released her first full-length album Rosie, led by the Bruno Mars collaboration “Apt.,” which achieved international chart success and solidified her as a global solo artist.
Known for her distinctive soprano and emotive delivery, ROSÉ has earned praise for her vocal tone and artistry. Beyond music, she is a global ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co., and in 2025 appeared in a SKIMS campaign.
Her accolades include five Guinness World Records, two MAMA Awards, and a spot on TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025.
