Kumail Nanjiani

Kumail Nanjiani is a familiar face in both film and television, known for his role as Dinesh in HBO's "Silicon Valley" and for his starring role in the romantic comedy "The Big Sick," which he also co-wrote. The latter earned him and his wife, Emily V. Gordon, a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Additionally, he has shown his versatility by lending his voice to different characters in animated series such as "Adventure Time" and films like "Men in Black International". His work has not gone unnoticed, with Time magazine naming him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018.

Nanjiani's career continues to flourish, showcasing his acting prowess in various roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), notably in "Eternals" and the "What If...?" episode "What If... Agatha Went to Hollywood?". He also played the lead role in the Hulu miniseries "Welcome to Chippendales" in 2022, a performance that earned him a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category. His ability to adapt to different characters is further exemplified by his guest role in the crime mystery series "Poker Face" and his portrayal of con artist Haja Estree in the Disney+ miniseries "Obi-Wan Kenobi".
