Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee Steinfeld is an actress and singer who rose to fame with her breakthrough performance as Mattie Ross in the 2010 film "True Grit," earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 14. Following "True Grit," she appeared in films such as "Ender’s Game," "Begin Again," and "Romeo & Juliet."

Steinfeld’s career reached new heights with her role as Emily Junk in "Pitch Perfect 2" and "Pitch Perfect 3," where she demonstrated her vocal talent alongside her acting. It was after her performance of "Flashlight" in "Pitch Perfect 2" that she was signed to Republic Records and her musical career took off. In 2016, she starred in "The Edge of Seventeen," a coming-of-age film that earned her widespread critical acclaim and a Golden Globe nomination. She continued to diversify her portfolio with the title role in the Apple TV+ series "Dickinson," where she portrayed poet Emily Dickinson with a modern twist. Her performance contributed to the show winning a Peabody Award in 2020.

In addition to her acting career, Steinfeld has made a name for herself in the music industry. She released her debut single “Love Myself” in 2015, followed by successful tracks like “Starving” and “Most Girls.” Her first Extended Play (EP), "Haiz," was released in November 2015, and she later released her second EP, "Half Written Story," in 2020.

Steinfeld has expanded her work into the superhero genre, voicing Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman in the Spider-Verse animated film series, including "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" and its 2023 sequel, "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse." She also portrayed Kate Bishop in the Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series "Hawkeye." Steinfeld also portrayed Vi in the Netflix series "Arcane" from 2021 to 2024. In 2025, she co-starred in the box-office hit "Sinners" alongside Michael B. Jordan. She is the co-founder of Angel Margarita, a margarita cocktail brand.
