Greta Lee

Greta Lee is an actress whose work spans Broadway, television, and film. Lee began her career in theater, making her Broadway debut in the musical comedy "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." She later appeared in the revival of the comedic play "La Bête" on Broadway and in the West End, and performed in the Amy Herzog play "4000 Miles" at Lincoln Center Theatre. After relocating to New York, Lee built a screen presence with supporting roles, including Maxine in "Russian Doll," Soojin in "Girls," and Stella Bak in "The Morning Show."

Lee's portrayal of Stella Bak earned nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. She gained further recognition for her lead role in the romantic drama film "Past Lives," which brought her a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress. In "Past Lives," Lee played Nora, a playwright who left Korea as a child, performing in Korean and exploring themes of identity and cultural connection. The film received multiple honors, including Oscar nominations for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay, Independent Spirit Awards for Best Film and Best Director, and a Directors Guild of America Award for outstanding direction of a first-time feature.

Lee's performance in "Past Lives" also earned nominations for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress, and the Independent Spirit Award for Best Lead Performance. The film received recognition from Gold House and CAPE Gold List, including Best Picture, Best Director for Celine Song, and Best Performance in a Leading Role for Lee. Lee has discussed the personal significance of performing in Korean and how the film deepened her connection to her Korean-American identity.

Following her work in "Past Lives," Lee has appeared in a range of projects across the entertainment industry. Her credits include "A House of Dynamite," a political thriller directed by Kathryn Bigelow and produced by Netflix, as well as a role as a CEO in "Tron: Ares." Lee has also provided the voice of Lilypad in Disney Pixar's "Toy Story 5" and contributed to "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse." She stars in "The Last House," a film by director Louis Leterrier that centers on a family facing extraordinary circumstances. She also starred alongside Willem Dafoe in “Late Fame.” Lee continues to be recognized for her versatility and presence in film, television, and voice acting.
