Dimi Yar

Dimi Yar is the founder and CEO of VOSA Income Inequality Solutions, a compensation and workplace consulting and certification firm focused on addressing the root causes of income inequality and workforce challenges. Yar is a certified public accountant and graduated with honors from New York University's Stern School of Business with degrees in accounting and finance. He has built a 25-year career in financial services, holding roles at firms such as PwC, Deutsche Bank, AIG, and Allianz.

Yar spent 13 years at Deutsche Bank, progressing from associate to director, and served as head of financial planning and analysis at Deutsche Asset Management. In this role, he designed a strategic planning process that significantly reduced organizational planning efforts. He later worked as a divisional financial officer at AIG and joined Allianz Global Investors, where he co-headed the financial planning and analysis function in the United States before becoming global head of management reporting at the company's headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany.

After leaving the corporate sector, Yar launched VOSA Income Inequality Solutions, developing the "Value of Service Award" (VOSA), a certifiable compensation plan aimed at addressing gaps in corporate compensation systems, including the employee recognition gap and the employee participation gap. VOSA provides consulting and advisory services to help companies improve employee engagement, retention, pay equity, and address the cost of living crisis, as well as narrow gender and racial pay gaps. The company operates globally, with entities in the United States, European Union, and South Africa.

Yar leads a team of VOSA advisors with expertise in human resources, compensation, behavioral psychology, organizational development, and employer branding. The mission of VOSA Income Inequality Solutions is to promote sustainable, inclusive growth and shared prosperity by recognizing and rewarding the full value of employees' contributions. The company emphasizes business-led solutions to income inequality, without reliance on government intervention.

Yar also serves as co-chair of the Financial Executives Networking Group's Frankfurt branch and president of Share25, a U.S.-based nonprofit advocating for universal tenure-based employee profit-sharing as an economic policy for inclusive growth.
