Colton Herta

Colton Herta emerged in the motorsports world at a young age, demonstrating his prowess on the track by securing the Pacific Formula F1600 championship title in 2013. His undeniable talent and drive led him to the IndyCar Series where he competed from 2018 to 2025. Herta's time in the series was marked by a series of victories, including his first win at the 2019 "IndyCar Classic" in Austin. Notably, this win also marked him as the youngest person ever to win an IndyCar Series race. Over the following years, he continued to rack up wins and accolades, with standout performances such as his win at the 2024 "Music City Grand Prix" in Nashville and his second-place finish in the 2024 IndyCar Series.

In addition to his IndyCar career, Herta also made his mark in the IMSA SportsCar Championship. He participated in the 2019 24 Hours of Daytona and secured a win in the GTLM class with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. His first overall win in the IMSA SportsCar Championship came in 2024 at the 12 Hours of Sebring with Wayne Taylor Racing and Andretti Autosport. As of 2026, Herta continues to compete part-time in the IMSA SportsCar Championship with Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing while also exploring new opportunities in Formula 2.

2026 marks a new chapter in Herta's career as he is set to compete in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for Hitech TGR with support from Cadillac. As he ventures into this new arena, he also serves as a test driver for the Cadillac Formula One Team. These new roles follow a stint as a development driver for McLaren in 2022, where he tested the MCL35M at the Algarve International Circuit in Portimão. Beyond his racing career, Herta showcases a creative side as a member of the indie punk rock band The Zibs, where he plays the drums.
