Barry Keoghan

Barry Keoghan is an Irish actor recognized for his contributions to both independent and blockbuster films. His early performances include roles in "'71," "Mammal," and "Trespass Against Us." Notably, he received acclaim for his work in Christopher Nolan's "Dunkirk" and Yorgos Lanthimos's "The Killing of a Sacred Deer" in 2017, which earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination. Further, Keoghan's acting contributions continued to be recognized with his roles in "American Animals," "Calm with Horses," and "The Green Knight."

In 2021, Keoghan entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe with his portrayal of Druig in "Eternals." Keoghan's performance in Martin McDonagh's 2022 film "The Banshees of Inisherin" marked a significant milestone in his career, securing him the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and nominations for a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. More recently, in 2023, he appeared in the psychological drama "Saltburn," garnering additional Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations. That same year, it was announced he would be playing the role of Ringo Starr in the four-part Beatles biopic, where each Beatle will have their own film released on the same day in April 2028.

Off-screen, Keoghan is a brand ambassador for Dior, Barretstown, and, most recently, Burberry in 2024. He has also received various accolades, including the Hasty Pudding Man of the Year and the London Film Critics' Circle Award for Supporting Actor of the Year in 2024.
