Anjelah Johnson-Reyes

Anjelah Johnson-Reyes is an actress, stand-up comedian, author, and former NFL cheerleader known for her work in comedy, television, and film. Johnson-Reyes began her career as a cheerleader for the Oakland Raiders, where she was named Rookie of the Year and performed at Super Bowl XXXVII as a member of the Oakland Raiderettes. She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue comedy, enrolling in improv and joke-writing classes before headlining her own shows.

Johnson-Reyes gained widespread attention with her stand-up routine featuring an impression of a Vietnamese nail salon employee, which went viral on YouTube. The video, "Nail Salon," has garnered more than 47 million views. Her success online led to a role as a cast member on MADtv during its 13th season, where she portrayed characters such as Mỹ Linh/Tammy and Bon Qui Qui. Her work on MADtv earned her a nomination for an ALMA Award for Outstanding Female Performance in a Comedy Television Series.

Johnson-Reyes has released six stand-up comedy specials streaming on various platforms and has performed in sold-out theaters internationally.
