Mike Bossy
Mike Bossy (born in Montreal, Quebec, on January 22, 1957) was an ice hockey player who played for the New York Islanders during their four-year reign as Stanley Cup champions in the early 1980s. Known for his powerful shot, he was among the league's goal scoring leaders. His career was cut short by injuries.

Bobby Hull
Hull's skills are sometimes defined in terms of speed. He could skate 28.3 mph with the puck and 29.7 mph without it; his slap shot was timed at 118.3 mph, his wrist shot at 105 mph, his backhand shot at 96 mph. But he was also an exceptionally strong player with a nearly perfect athlete's body at 5-feet-10 and a solid 195 pounds.

Pat Lafontaine
A perennial All Star in the National Hockey League, Pat enjoyed a 15-year career with the New Your Islanders, Buffalo Sabres and New York Rangers. He represented the United States at the 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo and at various World Cup tournaments throughout his career. He retired prematurely from the NHL in 1998 as a result of a series of concussions suffered though his career.
