Karla Brandau Biography

Karla Brandau, Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), is the CEO of Workplace Power Institute, an organization dedicated to helping individuals become charismatic, focused,  forward thinking leaders who employees want to follow. Her soon to be released book The 21st Century Social Contract, helps leaders understand the changing world between employees and employers.

Her proprietary principles promote a productive workplace environment by helping the leader be effective in the areas of communication, personalities, creativity, and time management. She is especially adept at helping leaders work in cross-cultural environments. Her high-energy and high-content programs are customized for executives and managers at all levels of the organization.

Over 85% of the organizations Karla works with for the past 20 years, have her back for repeat engagements. She has tailored programs for associations, governmental agencies, small businesses and 10 of the Fortune 100 companies including Motorola, AT&T, Panasonic and SAP.

Karla holds the Certified Speaking Professional designation from the National Speakers Association and graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University with an education degree. 

As a writer, Karla has authored "Wake Up The Winner Inside," "101 Time Management Tips" and co-authored "Ready, Aim, Improve: Getting Results Through Successful Change Initiatives." She maintains a blog, writes a monthly newsletter, and is a regular contributor to numerous on line blog sites including Linked2Leadership. Karla has produced an audio CD entitled "Time For Results", and a video series, "Expect Success."

Her keynotes and workshops are interactive, skill-based, laced with humor, and filled with memorable stories. Audience members are motivated to break their personal barriers to achievement whether they are in the executive suite or the managerial ranks.
