Vicki Flier Hudson

Vicki Flier Hudson is an executive coach, speaker, and intercultural collaboration expert with more than two decades of experience supporting leaders and organizations in cross-cultural effectiveness. As chief collaboration officer for Highroad Global Services, Inc., Hudson leads a company specializing in cross-cultural training and coaching for global virtual teams, expatriates, and leaders working across borders. With 25 years of experience, she guides clients in developing effective organizational practices, building global leadership, increasing cross-cultural competence, and addressing conflict barriers to high performance.

Hudson’s career in cross-cultural consulting began in her twenties, when her interest in global business and culture led her to travel extensively through Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Her experience living and working in countries including India, China, Thailand, Nepal, Belgium, and France informs her approach to global leadership development and intercultural communication. The concept for Highroad Global Services originated during her time in Nepal, where she envisioned integrating business and cultural understanding.

Through Highroad, Hudson has provided cross-cultural training and consulting to organizations such as Procter & Gamble, IHG, UPS, The Home Depot, The Coca-Cola Company, NASA, Philips Electronics, Siemens Healthcare, and Martin Marietta. She delivers presentations, keynotes, and webinars focused on global team collaboration and organizational development. Hudson has lectured on global business for the Corporate Learning Institute at Emory University and has been recognized as Instructor of the Year for International Programs at Kennesaw State University.

Hudson is the author of "Zen and the Art of Offshoring: How to Build a Collaborative and Profitable Team with Your Partners in India." Her work has been featured on NBC News, and she has authored two books of poetry and essays, "The Runway of Stars" and "The Winter Garden." She has also contributed articles on global teams to Industrial Management magazine. Hudson holds certifications in TTI Success Insights DISC and 12 Driving Forces, is a certified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory, a registered mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, and a trained coach through the Co-Active Institute.

Hudson is a member of the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research, the Japan-America Society of Georgia, and the Technology Association of Georgia, and has served on the board of directors for the Georgia Indo-American Chamber of Commerce. In addition to her professional work in global leadership and intercultural training, Hudson performs as a singer and guitarist in the Rush tribute band The Spirit of Rush.
