Tom Coverly

Tom Coverly, known professionally as The Illusionist, is a motivational entertainer, TV show host, comedy magician, and motivational speaker. Coverly has performed live on stage for more than 5 million people worldwide, headlining multiple tours. He earned the nickname The Illusionist from his peers while in college, where he began learning magic at a local magic shop. What started as a hobby developed into a full-time career, with Coverly spending over 16 years touring as a motivational speaker and comedy magician. He previously served as a youth pastor for 12 years.

Coverly grew up in Camden, New Jersey, and his personal story includes overcoming challenges such as fighting, stealing, suicide attempts, and destructive behavior. A turning point came when a mentor intervened in his life. He also faced self-doubt after a college professor told him he would never succeed as a public speaker, motivating him to study public speaking extensively. Coverly now uses these experiences to connect with audiences of all ages, encouraging them to use their past to shape their future.

Coverly's signature presentation, "Destroy Illusions," is a sought-after talk for corporate events, school assemblies, universities, police departments, and teachers' mental health programs. The "Destroy Illusions" school assembly program, featuring a "Real Respect" message, is widely requested by middle and high schools and young adult organizations. Coverly is the founder of One Goal Productions, a nonprofit focused on bullying and suicide prevention, reaching tens of thousands of youth annually. He also serves as president of Influencer Pro University and founded the Kindness Wins Movement.

He was recognized in LA Weekly as one of the top 10 most positive people in America and in Forbes Magazine for his entrepreneurial impact through school assembly programs.
