Stacey A. Gordon

Stacey A. Gordon is a workplace culture consultant, keynote speaker, author, and executive advisor specializing in diversity, equity, inclusion, and organizational change. As CEO and chief diversity strategist of Rework Work, Gordon focuses on transforming how companies recruit, hire, and engage employees to foster inclusion and belonging. Drawing on her expertise in diversity and inclusion and her background in recruiting, she develops education workshops, leadership development programs, and resources to address challenges in building diverse talent pipelines.

Gordon began her career in diversity recruiting at Prudential, where she was among the top recruiters on the West Coast, and continued her work at MUFG Americas, a major financial institution. Her corporate experience informs her consulting practice, providing insight into the systemic barriers organizations face in creating inclusive workplaces. Gordon has worked with people managers and executive leaders from companies such as American Express, ADP, Kia Motors, Hewlett Packard, GE, and The Obama Foundation, delivering education, coaching, and consulting to support organizational change and leadership development.

Gordon is widely known for her digital education initiatives. She created an unconscious bias course that is the most viewed course on the LinkedIn Learning platform and has been translated into multiple languages. Her courses have reached more than 1 million unique learners and have been featured by LinkedIn, Microsoft, and Virgin America (now Alaska Airlines). Gordon is the author of "UNBIAS: Addressing Unconscious Bias at Work" and "The Successful Interview: 99 Questions to Ask and Answer (and Some You Shouldn't)." "UNBIAS" has ranked at the top of Amazon's Business Ethics category.

Gordon has served as adjunct faculty teaching Diversity in Organizations and Cultural Intelligence at Phillips Graduate University, as adjunct faculty at Pepperdine University teaching Inclusive Leadership, and as director of education for Professionals in Human Resources Association, the largest affiliate of SHRM in the country. She holds an Inclusive Workplace Culture credential and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification. Gordon has provided subject matter expertise to Harvard Business Review, SHRM, Fast Company, Skillsoft, Forbes, NPR, and BBC Radio.

Gordon has been recognized by Pepperdine University as a Top 40 Over 40 Leader, by Los Angeles Business Journal for her work in diversity, by Forbes as a Top 3 Business Leader Who Spoke Out About Diversity & Inclusion, and by Los Angeles Times as a DEIA Visionary.
