Sarah Begum

Sarah Begum has explored Planet Earth on purposeful adventures to document important stories about other cultures and the environment, becoming a pioneering face of exploration.

Her first film, “Amazon Souls,” immersed in the lives of the Huaorani tribe and made her a real-life Amazon Warrior Queen to spread their message about protecting their land. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and was distributed worldwide. Later, she was chosen to be an advocate for the tribe to propose a bilateral agreement to the Ecuadorian government.

Begum has been highlighted by the press for her work in the Amazon Rainforest. The Guardian's San Miguel Rich List named her one of the world's top trailblazers, an enriching explorer who has been helping others. She is endorsed by Bear Grylls, David Attenborough, Jane Goodall, Hollywood actors Cylk Cozart and Kevin Hart, among others, for her positive contributions to the world.

Begum was made a STEM Ambassador to inspire others into the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics sectors, as she believes it is important to work harmoniously towards creating a beautiful and innovative future for us all. She was the host of a series interviewing experts and entrepreneurs about the space industry and presented content for the BBC about a "Dr. Who"–themed coding kit to encourage young people into the STEM sector.

Begum's objectives are to positively impact others by working with organizations aligned with protecting the planet while helping humanity along the way.
