Oriana Kraft

Oriana Kraft is a women's health innovator, entrepreneur, and founder of FemTechnology Inc., a global organization focused on closing the gender data health gap. Kraft conceived, curated, and produced the first edition of the FemTechnology Summit as her bachelor's research project at ETH Zurich, motivated by the lack of attention to conditions such as endometriosis and the absence of sex differences in medical curricula. What began as an academic thesis evolved into a movement spanning more than 60 countries.

Kraft established FemTechnology Inc., which encompasses the FemTechnology Summit, FemTechGuide, and a University Series. Through the flagship FemTechnology Summit, she brings together corporations, FemTech startups, researchers, and clinicians to address innovation and collective challenges in women's health. Under her leadership, the FemTechnology Summit at Roche headquarters convened 150 innovators to discuss topics including "Redesigning Healthcare with Women in Mind" and "AI & the Gender Data Health Gap," with outcomes presented at the US Chamber of Commerce, World Economic Forum, and other venues. The University Series has been held at Harvard Business School, Imperial College London, ETH Zurich, King's College London, and the Merantix AI Campus.

As the founder of FemTechnology and creator of the ORI platform, Kraft draws on her medical and engineering background at ETH Zurich to advance women's healthcare. ORI is a personalized health navigation platform that centralizes solutions in women's health, analyzes data to identify cost drivers, and supports employers in reducing healthcare expenses, optimizing benefits, and improving employee outcomes. Kraft's work is dedicated to translating women's health research into practical care solutions, addressing gaps in medical education and clinical research.

In collaboration with the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, FemTechnology conducted a global survey revealing significant gaps in workplace support for women's health. The survey gathered insights from more than 1,000 female employees in the healthcare sector across 42 countries and six continents. Findings showed that 70% of respondents reported losing one to five days of productivity in the past month due to women's health issues, with unsupported conditions resulting in substantial costs per employee annually. Kraft has publicly stated, "women are navigating systems that weren't designed for them, and companies are paying the price — closing these gaps isn't just the right thing to do, it's the key to unlocking productivity, driving innovation, and securing a competitive edge in the modern workforce."

Beyond her work in healthcare innovation, Kraft writes speculative fiction, including "Empire of Memories," an interactive novel where readers' choices shape the narrative. Kraft continues to challenge institutions, corporations, and policymakers to invest in female biology as a strategic priority in modern healthcare.
