Morgon Latimore

Morgon Latimore is a triathlon coach, motivational speaker, and multi-published author whose personal journey from Kansas City, Missouri, to a 24-year career as a U.S. Marine shapes his coaching philosophy. After serving in Afghanistan, Latimore applied his experiences with post-traumatic stress to personal growth, using endurance sports as a tool for mental fitness. His athletic pursuits include half and full-distance IRONMAN events, Ultraman, and RAAM, a 3,000-mile ultra-cycling race across the United States. These experiences inform his approach to personal development and endurance coaching.

Latimore, known as The Peoples Coach, has coached and mentored athletes in endurance sports for more than two decades, working across disciplines such as 5Ks, triathlons, adventure races, and ultramarathons. His coaching extends beyond physical training to include time management, stress management, life planning, and community building within the endurance sports industry. Latimore has coached and mentored more than 1,000 athletes and has provided training to members of the U.S. Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Army. His certifications include Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, Spinning Instructor, IRONMAN Coach, USMS Level 3 Coach, and Adult Learn to Swim Lead Instructor.

As an author, Latimore brings his coaching expertise to a wider audience. His book "Become an Amazing Coach" offers guidance for aspiring coaches, while "Magnificent Athlete Journey" addresses the athlete experience, including training, life balance, and personal growth.
