Monti Ossenfort

Monti Ossenfort is the general manager of the Arizona Cardinals and a veteran NFL front-office executive. A former college quarterback, Ossenfort was a four-year letterman and two-year starter at quarterback for the University of Minnesota-Morris, where he ranks first in program history in pass attempts, fourth in completions, and fifth in total passing yards. After earning his undergraduate degree, Ossenfort completed a master's degree in business administration and a master's degree in sports management from Ohio University, establishing a foundation for a career in professional football operations and sports management.

Ossenfort began his NFL career as an intern with the Minnesota Vikings before joining the Houston Texans' scouting department during the franchise's inaugural season. He later joined the New England Patriots, serving in multiple roles including director of college scouting, assistant director of college scouting, national scout, area scout, and personnel assistant over 15 seasons. During his tenure, the Patriots won four Super Bowl titles and advanced to seven Super Bowls, providing Ossenfort with experience in talent evaluation and roster construction within a highly competitive organization.

Before joining the Cardinals, Ossenfort spent three seasons as director of player personnel with the Tennessee Titans. During that period, the Titans tied for fifth in the NFL in total wins, won two AFC South titles, and achieved consecutive division championships for the first time since the 1970 merger. Ossenfort was hired as the Cardinals general manager following his time in Tennessee.

As general manager, Ossenfort has overseen significant roster changes for the Cardinals, including nearly 700 roster moves, 14 trades, 35 draft picks, and the signing of key veterans to contract extensions. His leadership approach emphasizes organizational rebuilds, disciplined decision-making, and sustainable team-building strategies. Ossenfort's expertise in NFL operations, player personnel management, and organizational leadership positions him as a resource for audiences navigating complex, high-stakes environments.
