Maureen McCormick Biography
Maureen McCormick is internationally known for her iconic role of Marcia Brady on the 1970s sitcom “The Brady Bunch.” She has reprised the role in several Brady Bunch spin-offs and reunion shows and had runs on “Fantasy Island” and “Love Boat.”
She’s been featured on “Dancing with the Stars”, in HGTV’s “A Very Brady Renovation,” and as the host of HGTV’s home renovation show “Frozen In Time.”
After early fame, McCormick faced personal battles with addiction, depression, and bulimia—challenges she chronicled in her New York Times bestselling memoir “Here’s the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice.” Her story of recovery and resilience continues to inspire people across generations.
One of her older brothers has intellectual disabilities (ID) and she’s committed to advocating the importance of inclusivity on behalf of him and the millions of people with intellectual disabilities (ID) worldwide. McCormick works closely with the Special Olympics to support this mission of inclusion and ending discrimination against people with ID.
She is also a passionate advocate for overcoming adversity and eliminating the stigmas associated with mental health, eating disorders, and addiction recovery.
