Marklyn T. Johnson

Marklyn T. Johnson, known professionally as MisterDirect, is an author, motivational speaker, and stand-up comedian recognized for his direct approach to personal development. A graduate of Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Johnson has worked in the production industry for more than 20 years. As a host and comedian from the New Jersey and New York comedy scenes, he has performed at venues throughout the Tri-state area, as well as in cities such as Miami and Minnesota.

Johnson's speaking engagements include appearances at schools and corporate events, where he addresses topics such as sales performance, team building, and workplace culture. At Edison High School in New Jersey, he participated in the Students Now Acting Positively Program, sharing strategies for self-discovery and personal growth. Johnson is the author of "Lessons From a Sh*t Talker," a guide focused on pursuing personal goals and overcoming obstacles, including racial inequality and societal expectations.
