Lachi is an award-winning internationally touring creative artist and personality, Grammys Board Governor, and Founder and CEO of the U.N.-recognized RAMPD, a global network of music creators and professionals with disabilities. RAMPD is a platform equipping the music industry with inclusive tools and practices while connecting the industry to a directory of accredited music professionals with disabilities. Lachi is known as the go-to voice on disability and accessibility in the music and live entertainment industries.

Born legally blind, Lachi uses her platform to amplify identity pride, Disability Culture and inclusion to the pop culture narrative. Through RAMPD, Lachi brought accessibility to the 64th and 65th GRAMMYs by walking the red carpet with a glammed mobility cane. She also hosted a PBS “American Masters” segment highlighting disabled rebels.

Named a “new champion in advocacy” by Billboard, she’s held talks with the White House and the UN, and has been featured in Essence, Forbes, Hollywood Reporter, Good Morning America, and the New York Times for celebrating intersectionality through her music, storytelling and fashion and for her upbeat and unapologetic brand of disability pride.

Elected as a Recording Academy Board Governor, in 2022 Lachi serves on numerous industry boards and advocates for diverse music professionals and creators, from policy to visibility. whether through public speaking, keynote performances, leading public calls to action or private consultations, Lachi infuses her advocacy from the lens of intersectionality..

From best-practices, to etiquette workshops, to discussions on culture and equity, to performances and social activations, Lachi engages with major production houses, labels, publishers, corporate music firms and arts foundations to heighten the necessary conversation of Disability representation in mainstream culture.
