Khalid

Khalid exploded onto the music scene with a pair of diamond-selling smashes and attained a major-label contract within months of uploading his first songs when he was just out of high school. His debut studio album American Teen, featuring the generational anti-anthem "Young Dumb & Broke," became a Top 20 pop hit and scored multiple Grammy nominations.

A string of era-defining collaborations followed, including massive hits with Logic's "1-800-273-8255" -- which became a global anthem for mental health awareness -- Halsey and Benny Blanco's "Eastside," Normani's "Love Lies," Ed Sheeran's "Beautiful People," and Billie Eilish's "lovely." His first EP, Suncity, yielded the top-10 hit "Better," while his second album, Free Spirit, with its top-five single "Talk," debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, in the same year he was named one of TIME’s Most Influential People.

In 2020, Khalid was the youngest artist to surpass 15 billion streams on Spotify alone and was named BMI’s Pop Songwriter of the Year. During the summer of 2021, Khalid debuted his track "New Normal" at Virgin Galactic’s Unity 22 Spaceflight launch where it played in the shuttle during its descent back to earth. To close out the year, he released his Scenic Drive tape which he describes as a companion piece to his EP Sun City.

Khalid and Marshmello teamed up again on their summer hit "Numb," making this the artist’s second collaboration following their six-time platinum smash hit "SILENCE." Khalid was featured on the official soundtrack for Greta Gerwig’s "Barbie" movie and joined Ed Sheeran in touring select cities across North America.
