Katrina Jones

Katrina Jones is the founder and CEO of Advancing Equity + Inclusion, a boutique Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) and talent consulting and coaching firm. She helps organizations connect their programmatic efforts to defined DEI strategies that empower them to build more diverse teams, disrupt bias through equitable talent processes, and foster a more inclusive and psychologically safe culture.

Jones has deep experience across DEI, talent management, and HR, and has worked at companies of varying size, industries, and maturity, including Amazon Web Services, Accenture, and Latham & Watkins. Over a 15+ year career, she has managed and served in virtually every function within talent and HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, talent and performance management, and DEI. The foundation of her commitment to the work of DEI and Talent is a bold vision for an equitable and just society in which we all collectively work to address access, inclusion, and opportunity gaps.

The foundation of Jones’s passion and commitment to the work of talent, HR and DEI is an unyielding belief in justice and transformation, and a desire to lift up people whose voices and experiences have been denied or silenced. Jones is a Lifetime Member of the Texas Exes, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. She also has a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from The Catholic University of America.
