Jane Jenkins Herlong

Jane Jenkins Herlong is a Sirius XM Humorist, international best-selling and award-winning author, professional singer, recording artist and award-winning professional speaker. Herlong is a member of the Speaker Hall of Fame and one of the 232 men and women to be awarded this honor including former U.S. President Ronald Reagan and the late General Colin L. Powell. She has also achieved the distinction of becoming a Certified Speaking Professional by the National Speakers Association.

Herlong's is the author of five best-selling/award-winning books: “Rhinestones on My Flip-Flops: Choosing Extravagant Joy in the Midst of Everyday Mess-ups,” “Bury Me with My Pearls," “Bare Feet to High Heels,” and “What Ta-Tas Teach Us." Herlong's fifth book, “Sweet Tea Secrets from the Deep Fried South,” is published by Tyndale House Publishing and was a best-selling new release in five Amazon categories.

Her award-winning singing and humor is featured on Sirius XM Radio, Pandora Internet Radio, Spotify, and Amazon. Her comedy is heard along with Jeff Foxworthy, Ray Romano and Jerry Seinfeld. She crisscrosses the country sharing her sweet tea wisdom and Southern Fried humor. Herlong has also spoken in New Zealand and Germany and is fluent in four languages: English, Southern, Northern and Lowcountry Gullah (gul‐la).

With a sense of humor and smart work, Herlong traveled from the rows of her family farm to the runway of the Miss America Pageant all the way to performing at Radio City Music Hall. She graduated from college with the highest honors voted by her peers and continued on to graduate school. Her successes continued to pile up from there.
