Jamie Malone

Jamie Malone is an acclaimed chef and culinary entrepreneur based in Minneapolis, known for her innovative cuisine, commitment to sustainability, and distinctive dining experiences. Growing up in St. Paul, Minnesota, Malone’s passion for food began early as she cooked and baked with her father and later led her to study and immerse herself in diverse culinary traditions across Europe and Asia before earning her culinary degree.

Malone first gained national attention as a chef at the renowned Sea Change restaurant in Minneapolis, where she won accolades for her focus on sustainable seafood and was named one of Food & Wine magazine’s “Best New Chefs” in 2013. She has also been a multiple James Beard Foundation award semifinalist, including nominations for “Rising Star Chef” and “Best Chef Midwest,” and received Cooking Light’s Trailblazer Award for her work with sustainable ingredients.

In 2017, Malone opened her own restaurant Grand Café, which was named Food & Wine’s “Best New Restaurant” and earned Dish of the Year honors. Though the brick‑and‑mortar Grand Café later closed, Malone pivoted to new ventures, including Paris Dining Club & Studio, where she brings fine‑dining‑level culinary experiences and curated meals to intimate gatherings and events.
