Gaard Swanson

Gaard Swanson is a television broadcaster and lifestyle host recognized as the face of "Seattle Refined," a daily show on KOMO 4 that highlights the Pacific Northwest. As host of "Seattle Refined," Swanson covers topics including Seattle food, fashion, entertainment, and adventure, airing Monday through Friday.

Swanson has a background in sports broadcasting, having anchored at Fox Sports in Los Angeles and KING-TV in Seattle. He joined KIRO-TV from Fox Sports Northwest, where he served as the primary anchor, and previously worked as a weeknight sportscaster at Fox Sports in Los Angeles. His broadcasting experience also includes the NFL Network, KATU-TV in Portland, and KEPR-TV in Pasco, Washington. Throughout his sports journalism career, Swanson covered major events such as Super Bowls and pennant races, establishing himself as a versatile on-air presence in sports media.

In addition to his broadcast work, Swanson has developed expertise in real estate. He has renovated numerous properties in California and Washington state, which led to hosting roles on HGTV's "Generation Renovation" and "Space Pads."
