Erika Seth Davies

Erika Seth Davies is a leader in impact investing and racial equity, serving as CEO of Rhia Ventures. In this role, Davies guides Rhia Ventures in transforming the U.S. market for sexual, reproductive, and maternal health through strategies that include impact investing, ecosystem building, corporate engagement, and narrative change. Davies has more than two decades of experience in development, fundraising, program design, and partnership management, contributing to the intersection of social justice and finance.

Davies is the founder of The Racial Equity Asset Lab (The REAL), an organization that centers racial equity in impact investing and works to address the racial wealth gap. Her previous positions include vice president of external affairs at the Association of Black Foundation Executives, where she designed the SMART Investing Initiative to encourage foundations to adopt a racial equity lens in endowment management. Davies has also served as social entrepreneur in residence with Common Future and as a fellow for equitable access to capital markets at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University.

A frequent public speaker and facilitator, Davies has presented at major conferences and forums, including Mission Investors Exchange and the Council on Foundations, sharing her expertise on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Her recognitions include fellowships from NYU Wagner School of Public Service and the ABFE Connecting Leaders program. Davies’s career demonstrates her ability to drive systemic change in philanthropy, impact investing, and public discourse.
