Eldeen Pozniak

Eldeen Pozniak is an international management consultant specializing in occupational health and safety. She is CEO of Pozniak Safety Associates Inc. in Canada, CEO of Diggins Safety Consulting, and vice president of As One Consulting in the United States. Pozniak has worked on five continents, with her consulting impacting 27 countries, and brings more than 25 years of experience advising industry sectors, government organizations, businesses, and educational institutions.

Pozniak holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Saskatchewan, has completed an ergonomics professional residency program, and holds an MBA in leadership. She is pursuing a PhD in industrial psychology and organizational development. Her professional designations include Canadian Registered Safety Professional, Certified Health and Safety Consultant, Certified Health and Safety Management System Auditor, Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management, and Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health in the United Kingdom.

She has lectured at technical institutes and at the University of Saskatchewan, developing and delivering courses for the Occupational Health and Safety Certificate Program. Pozniak is also involved with the University of Fredericton as an occupational health and safety program consultant. She has served as past president of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering and the International Network of Safety and Health Professional Organizations.

Pozniak delivers presentations on leadership, cultural intelligence, emotional intelligence, and workplace safety, drawing on her consulting practice and personal experiences. As a Certified Professional Speaker through the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, she has presented keynotes, seminars, and workshops to audiences worldwide, focusing on safety culture and leadership development.

Pozniak has been recognized by the American Society of Safety Professionals in its publication highlighting 100 Women Making a Difference in the safety, health, and environment profession. She has been inducted into the Saskatchewan Safety Hall of Fame, received both the Saskatchewan and Canadian Safety Professional of the Year awards, and was recognized for her contributions to health and safety globally. Additional honors include the ASSP President's Award, the Women of Inspiration Award, and multiple Canadian Occupational Safety top women in safety recognitions. Pozniak's achievements as an international safety consultant reflect her commitment to advancing occupational health and safety and developing the future capabilities of the profession.
