Dr. Jeffrey Rediger

Dr. Jeffrey Rediger is a physician, board-certified psychiatrist, and faculty member at Harvard Medical School whose work focuses on the intersection of medicine, science, and human potential. Rediger served as the medical director of McLean SE and Community Affairs at McLean Hospital in Boston for 22 years and was also the chief of behavioral medicine at Good Samaritan Medical Center. In addition to his medical and psychiatric training, he holds a Master of Divinity in theology and philosophy of science from Princeton Theological Seminary. This combination of credentials enables Rediger to explore the connections between mind, body, and healing within the context of modern medicine.

Rediger has spent more than 15 years studying spontaneous healing, using scientific tools to investigate recoveries from illnesses traditionally considered incurable. In "Cured," Rediger examines the root causes of illness and outlines physical and mental principles associated with recovery, including the importance of diet, immune system health, stress response, and identity. As a voice in the field of integrative medicine, Rediger advocates for the study of spontaneous remissions within healthcare systems and treatment models.

His research into recoveries from incurable or fatal illnesses has been featured on Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Oz, and Anderson Cooper 360. He has also delivered a TEDx talk about his research. Rediger has received awards related to patient care and has been nominated for the National Bravewell Leadership Award, which recognizes contributions to integrative medicine.
