David Rosengarten

David Rosengarten is an American food journalist, television personality, and cookbook author recognized for his influential work covering gastronomy, wine culture, and culinary travel. Over a career spanning more than 25 years, he has written extensively about food products, restaurants, and international dining traditions for major publications.

Rosengarten is widely known as the host of Food Network's “Taste,” an award-winning television series dedicated to exploring the science and philosophy of flavor, wine, and quality ingredients. During his television career, he appeared in more than 2,500 Food Network episodes and also made frequent appearances on NBC’s “Today Show.” He served as a judge on “Iron Chef America.”

Rosengarten is also the author of several influential cookbooks, including “Red Wine with Fish,” “Taste,” which received an International Association of Culinary Professionals - food writing award award, and “It's All American Food,” which won a James Beard Award. Other works include “David Rosengarten Entertains” and the best-selling “Dean & DeLuca Cookbook.”

Rosengarten remains active as a culinary competition jurist and international speaker, participating in events such as the Wines of Chile Awards and global food and beverage conferences focused on culinary tourism, wine education, and food industry innovation.
