Christopher F. Rufo

Christopher F. Rufo is a senior fellow and director of the initiative on critical race theory at the Manhattan Institute and a contributing editor at City Journal. Rufo is recognized for his writing and research on critical race theory, gender ideology, homelessness, addiction, and urban decline. His work has appeared in major media outlets such as Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, and Fox News, and he is a regular guest on national television, contributing to public discourse as a commentator on social and political issues.

Rufo’s activism and scholarship have influenced public policy, including inspiring a presidential executive order and legislative action in several states addressing critical race theory in public institutions. He has collaborated with lawmakers on policy development and has served as a trustee of New College of Florida, where he has supported efforts to advance classical liberal arts education. As an author, his book "America’s Cultural Revolution" became a New York Times bestseller, establishing his role in discussions on cultural and political topics.
