Bernadette Anderson MD, MPH

Bernadette Anderson, MD, MPH, is a well-known and highly regarded medical expert, thought leader, visionary and the creator of Life in Harmony, an innovative, action-oriented approach to well-being. During her more than 20 years in the healthcare industry, which includes extensive experience in acute, clinical and preventive care, she has devoted much of her time to developing, teaching and educating others on the principles of health and lifestyle medicine.

In addition to her work as a practicing family physician, international bestselling author and health contributor for a quarterly magazine, Dr. Bernadette has been featured and cited in prominent online publications and has appeared on national television commercials. She also contributes to two health and wellness websites: Sharecare, which was established by Dr. Mehmet Oz and Jeff Arnold, and Social Audiences, a workforce social media network created by Janet Powers. Through inspirational speaking, group coaching, conferences and various social media outlets, Dr. Bernadette shares her insight on health management, lifestyle transformations, nutrition and fitness.

Today Dr. Bernadette is committed to empowering individuals with the tools they need to develop and maintain personal wellness. A native of Saginaw, Michigan, Dr. Bernadette earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She completed a master's degree in public health at the University of California, Berkeley and a doctorate of medicine from the Medical College of Ohio. She continued her clinical studies at the Mount Carmel Family Medicine Residency Program in Columbus, Ohio. Today Dr. Bernadette is a family medicine physician and the co-owner of Faith Family Health, also in Columbus. Both in her work as a physician and as the founder of Life in Harmony, Dr. Bernadette is committed to providing individuals with the tools they need to become the primary care provider of their own life.
