Ashlee Piper is a sustainability expert, television personality, author, and speaker who has worked to make eco-conscious living accessible and practical. Her work has appeared on more than 310 television segments, including The TODAY Show, Good Morning America, LIVE with Kelly & Mark, and CNN, as well as in publications such as VOGUE, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Marie Claire, The Atlantic, and Newsweek.

As a sustainability consultant, author, professor, and media figure, Piper has focused her career on helping individuals and organizations view sustainability as a source of satisfaction and fulfillment. She is the author of two books on sustainable living. Her book "Give A Sh*t: Do Good. Live Better. Save the Planet." has been described as a comprehensive guide to sustainability. Her second book, "No New Things: A Radically Simple 30-Day Guide to Saving Money, the Planet, and Your Sanity," published by Celadon Books, details her experience transitioning from frequent online shopping to a nearly two-year period of purchasing only essential items. "No New Things" offers readers a practical challenge to reduce consumption and embrace a simpler lifestyle, addressing the concept of conditioned consumerism and providing daily action items for sustainable living.

Piper has consulted on sustainability practices with companies including Airbnb, LUSH, Nissan, and Eileen Fisher. She has served as a cabinet-level advisor to two Massachusetts governors and is a judge for the Marie Claire Sustainability Awards. Piper has spoken at the United Nations, SXSW, and delivered a TED Talk. She created the #NoNewThings Challenge, for which she received a Silver Stevie Award for Female Innovator of the Year. Piper has been a professor of sustainability marketing at Loyola University Chicago, an eco instructor for LinkedIn Learning, and holds a BA from Brown University, an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention from the University of Oxford, and an MA in Holistic Health from IIN/Columbia University.
