Currently Aaron can be seen as Prosecutor David Wilentz in Clint Eastwood's J.Edgar starring Leonardo DiCaprio in movie theaters nationwide. He recently shot the season finale of CBS' Person of Interest and on May 9-13 Aaron stars in Encores' Gentlemen Prefer Blondes with Smash's Megan Hilty at City Center in NYC.
Aaron has appeared in seven Broadway shows including the world premiere of Impressionism with Jeremy Irons and Joan Allen, the revival of Les Miserables (for which he received a Drama Desk Award nomination), and the first ever Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music opposite Catherine Zeta-Jones, Angela Lansbury, Bernadette Peters, and Elaine Stritch. He is also well known for playing the role of Fabrizio in the Tony Award winning production of The Light in the Piazza at Lincoln Center and broadcast 'Live From Lincoln Center' on PBS.
Symphonic credits include the New York Philharmonic under Paul Gemignani, the New York Pops under Steven Reineke celebrating the 80th Birthday of Stephen Sondheim at Carnegie Hall, the National Symphony Orchestra under Marvin Hamlisch, the role of Billy Bigelow in the concert of Carousel with the Boston Pops under Keith Lockhart, and the role of Lt. Cable in South Pacific at The Hollywood Bowl starring Reba McEntire and Brian Stokes Mitchell. He has appeared internationally with The English National Opera, and with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra in Israel. Aaron's solo show recently played Feinstein's at the Loew's Regency and will be seen at The Kennedy Center in the Spring of 2012.
Aaron most recently appeared throughout season 2 of 'The Onion News Network' on IFC as rugged reporter O'Brady Shaw. Other credits include: J.Edgar, Mary Harron's The Notorious Bettie Page, Company with Neil Patrick Harris, Martha Plimpton and an all-star cast filmed live with the New York Philharmonic.
