Ms. Petersen’s credentials include the CPP (Certified Protocol Professional) designation. She also earned certification in the early 1990s from the Protocol School of Washington® and The Professional Image Institute, followed by extensive training from Dale Carnegie and Associates. In addition to her specialized training, Ms. Petersen studied business administration and liberal arts at Rock Valley College and fashion at Madison Area Technical College. She is currently a seasonal instructor at the International Academy of Merchandising and Design.
Prior to founding Global Protocol, Inc., Ms. Petersen spent sixteen years in civic and corporate roles developing her business protocol and international etiquette experience. She continues to focus on keeping her knowledge current by conducting surveys, attending frequent symposiums, and monitoring the business climate for emerging issues
