Michael Rubin is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Fanatics, the global leader for licensed sports merchandise. Under Rubin’s leadership, Fanatics is transforming how fans purchase their favorite team apparel through an innovative, tech-infused approach to retail. He is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kynetic, one of the world’s largest private technology companies focused on building consumer internet businesses.
Prior to creating Kynetic, Rubin was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GSI Commerce, a network of e-commerce, multi-channel and digital marketing businesses. In 2011, Michael ultimately sold his company by eBay for $2.4 billion.
Additionally, Rubin is part-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers (NBA), New Jersey Devils (NHL) and Crystal Palace F.C. (U.K. Premier League).
