Mrs. Efrat Peled, CPA serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Arison Holdings 1998 Ltd. Mrs. Peled has been the Chief Executive Officer at Arison Investments since 2006 and also serves as its Chief Executive Officer since 2006. Mrs. Peled serves as the Chief Executive Officer of and SAFO LLC since 2003. Mrs. Peled manages, develops and supports ventures that yield high financial returns, while at the same time bringing positive added value to Israel and the world. She has extensive international experience in managing enterprises across financial, operational and philanthropic sectors. Drawing on her expertise in managing complex and wide-ranging investment portfolios and in coordinating joint operations with leading investment banks and top international financial institutions, Mrs. Peled oversees the operations of multibillion-dollar global funds. In all of her positions, she advances the strategy and operations of Arison Investments’ subsidiaries, and works to locate significant long-term investments that are compatible with the company’s values and strategic goals. Mrs. Peled served as the Chief Executive Officer of ARTE Venture Group Ltd. She accumulated extensive managerial experience of the Arison Group, in the areas of business and philanthropy in the Israeli and international markets, including management in various financial and operational sectors, including specialization in the management of global financial fund systems, investment portfolios, financial and operational holdings, Israeli and international taxation, real estate, and extensive work with top-tier international investment banks and financial institutions. She has been Chairperson of Arison Holdings Ltd., since 1998. She serves as Chairperson of SAFO LLC. Mrs. Peled serves as a Vice Chairman of Miya S.a.r.l. She serves as a Director of Arison Sustainability Ltd., Arzaf B (97) Ltd., Arzaf C Ltd., Arzaf D Ltd., Bank Hapoalim Ltd., Salt Industries Israel Ltd., Shikun U'Binui Holdings Ltd., Miya S.a.r.l., Av-Ar Capital Investments 1997 Ltd., and Biomedical Investments (1997) Ltd. Mrs. Peled has been a Director of Bank Hapoalim BM since January 24, 2007; and Shikun & Binui Ltd., since November 26, 2006. Prior to Arison Group, she served as Chief Financial Officer of the Ted Arison Family Foundation in Israel and the United States. In 2009, Mrs. Peled was chosen to join the World Economic Forum’s prestigious Forum of Young Global Leaders, a group of leaders under the age of 40 from around the world. Mrs. Peled was nominated as the only Israeli on Forbes Magazine’s 2009 list of The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women. A licensed CPA, she holds an M.B.A. from Kellogg-Recanati. Mrs. Peled also holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics and a postgraduate diploma in Real Estate Appraisal and Management from Tel Aviv University.
