Jessica Yellin is the founder of #NewsNotNoise, a fresh voice in media that provides daily news reports on Instagram. The mission: to provide a news-wary audience of women and millennials information that leaves them feeling confident, informed and ready to engage.

Yellin is a Peabody, Gracie and Emmy award-winning political journalist. She is the past Chief White House Correspondent for CNN. She has reported for CNN, ABC, and MSNBC. At CNN she covered the White House, Capitol Hill, and domestic politics. Her debut novel, Savage News, was published in 2019.

As CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent Yellin interviewed

President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, First Lady Michelle Obama, and has conducted interviews with Presidents Bill Clinton, George H. W.Bush and First Lady Laura Bush. Yellin has covered multiple presidential campaigns and has reported from Russia, China, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. In Washington, Yellin covered significant policy debates including the push to reform the financial regulatory system.

Prior to CNN, Yellin was a White House correspondent at ABC News and an overnight anchor and correspondent at MSNBC. As a general assignment reporter for WTVT-TV she reported on the 2000 Florida recount in Tallahassee. She began her broadcast career in 1998 as a general assignment reporter for Orlando’s 24-hour cable news channel, Central Florida News 13. In 1999, she was named morning anchor.

Her written work has appeared in the New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and The Atlantic.

Yellin graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University and graduated from the Westlake School for Girls. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.

Yellin’s work has been published in The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Details and Entertainment Weekly. She was a Los Angeles-based reporter for George Magazine. Prior to that, she served as an editor at Los Angeles Magazine, where she contributed and edited stories on politics, Hollywood and cultural issues.

Yellin graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University and is from Los Angeles.
