Dr. Zorba Paster

Dr. Zorba Paster is a Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Paster is widely known for his participation in radio and television venues, including his 35 years of work on the NPR show, “On Your Health,” produced by Wisconsin Public Radio. He continues his work with the podcast “Stay Well with Dr. Zorba Paster,” available on various platforms. His TV special, “How to Live a Long Sweet Life,” was broadcast by 100 PBS stations across the country.

In addition to his book, “The Longevity Code – Your Personal Prescription for a Long Sweet Life,” Dr. Paster has written a cookbook titled “Heart Healthy, Low-Gat, Guilt-Free, and Tasty Recipes from the Kitchen of Zorba Paster”. He also edits the TopHealth Newsletter, which is read by more than 2 million people monthly.

Dr. Paster is one of the personal physicians to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. His current work includes efforts to eliminate tuberculosis among the Tibetan diaspora. His latest project, Zero TB in Tibetan Kids, received a major grant from the World Health Organization.

Dr. Paster integrates Western Medicine with Eastern Wisdom in his clinical practice in Madison. He first became interested in Buddhist wisdom and Tibetan causes in 1968 and has been involved ever since.
