Will Wade's career in basketball coaching is marked by an impressive track record of success, with notable tenures at several institutions. Starting at Chattanooga, he moved on to lead teams at VCU, McNeese State, NC State, and currently, LSU. His second stint with LSU began in 2026, after a brief engagement with NC State. Over the course of his career, Wade has amassed an impressive record of 266 wins and 119 losses, reflecting a winning percentage of .691.
Wade's leadership has led his teams to numerous championships, including the Atlantic 10 regular season in 2016 and the SEC regular season in 2019. A significant highlight of his career was in 2025, when he led McNeese to its first-ever NCAA tournament win. His teams have made repeated appearances in the NCAA tournament, with a memorable run to the Sweet 16 with LSU in the 2018-2019 season. However, his career has not been without
