Whitney Cummings

Whitney Cummings is a multifaceted individual who has made significant contributions to the field of comedy. She has demonstrated her talent in stand-up comedy, sitcoms, and films. Notably, she co-created and executive-produced the successful sitcom "2 Broke Girls," which ran for six seasons. Cummings also created, starred in, and executive-produced "Whitney," a sitcom that aired for two seasons. Her stand-up comedy prowess was recognized early on when she was named one of "10 Comics to Watch" by Variety in 2007. She has also played a key role in Comedy Central Roasts featuring celebrities such as Joan Rivers, David Hasselhoff, and Donald Trump.

In addition to television, Cummings has made significant strides in film and literature. She made her directorial debut with the comedy film "The Female Brain" in 2017, a project in which she also starred. Her literary skills were showcased in her first book, "I'm Fine...And Other Lies," published the same year.
