Von Miller

Von Miller is recognized as one of the most accomplished defensive players in NFL history, earning two Super Bowl championships and establishing a reputation for elite pass-rushing in professional football. Miller played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies, where he received consensus All-American honors and the Butkus Award. He was selected by the Denver Broncos with the second overall pick of the NFL Draft. During his rookie season, Miller recorded 11.5 sacks, earning the Defensive Rookie of the Year award and his first Pro Bowl selection.

In his second season, Miller improved his statistics with 18.5 sacks and his first career interception, which he returned for a touchdown. He earned both Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro honors that year. By the end of the 2015 season, Miller was named Super Bowl Most Valuable Player and was ranked among the top players on the NFL Top 100 Players list. He signed a six-year contract with the Broncos, making him the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history at the time. Miller became the fifth-fastest player in league history to reach 100 career sacks. His accolades include three first-team All-Pro selections, four second-team All-Pro selections, eight Pro Bowl appearances, and a place on the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.

Miller was traded to the Los Angeles Rams, where he won his second Super Bowl. He later signed a six-year contract with the Buffalo Bills after one season with the Rams. Despite injuries and a suspension during his time in Buffalo, Miller returned to record 9.0 sacks in 17 games with the Washington Commanders. The Dallas Cowboys then signed Miller to a one-year deal, bringing his career back to Texas. He has 138.5 career regular-season sacks in 203 games.

Off the field, Miller is active in philanthropy, founding Von's Vision, a charity that provides underprivileged youth with free eye exams, glasses, and LASIK surgery. The foundation has funded $5.1 million in vision care and eyewear for approximately 8,500 children. Miller has received the President's Award from the American Optometric Association for his charitable efforts. Miller's career continues to influence both the NFL and the broader community through his athletic achievements and philanthropic work.
