Uwem Ward

Uwem Ward is a recovery advocate, mindset coach, and public speaker whose work focuses on supporting women of color in healing and reclaiming their stories. Ward is the founder and CEO of ALL MADE WELL Recovery Programs, based in East Sacramento, and has established her career as a self-love advocate dedicated to empowering women of color. ALL MADE WELL programs are structured to provide safe spaces for leaders, healers, and high achievers to address trauma, including childhood abuse, addiction, betrayal trauma, racial and spiritual trauma, and various coping mechanisms.

Central to Ward's programming is her course, "Me Made Well," which offers a comprehensive recovery journey for individuals seeking to heal from emotional trauma. As the creator and brand strategist behind "Me Made Well," Ward developed all aspects of the course, including the accompanying journal, promotional materials, website, and apparel. Her approach is informed by a study of societal systems that contribute to the marginalization of women, particularly women of color, and the program is designed to challenge those systems.

Ward is a published author, public speaker, small group leader at The Father's House in Vacaville, California, domestic survivor advocate with Northwest Family Life in Seattle, Washington, and a trained leader for Celebrate Recovery and the California Black Women's Health Project. ALL MADE WELL collaborates with local churches to foster a healing culture within faith communities. Her speaking topics address social and personal issues such as authority structures, betrayal trauma, sex addiction, racism, healing, and the impact of trauma on individuals and communities.

Ward's work also includes prenatal and maternal support. She serves as a prenatal mindset coach, maternal fitness specialist, and perinatal doula, working with Black and neurodivergent women seeking clarity, strength, and agency in birth and motherhood. With advanced training in exercise science and nutrition, and experience in spiritual identity coaching and recovery-centered leadership, Ward integrates evidence-based fitness guidance with trauma-informed emotional support. She specializes in the intersection of identity, internalized trauma, and recovery, and brings a unique perspective as a doula for women who have been historically overlooked or misunderstood in medical settings.

Drawing from personal experience with betrayal trauma, spiritual harm, and the silencing of women in religious institutions, Ward brings authenticity and urgency to her work. As a keynote speaker, her topics include addiction and recovery, Black heritage, diversity and inclusion, faith and religion, mental health, sexual assault recovery, social activism, and women's empowerment, establishing her as a multifaceted voice in the fields of recovery, mental health, and social justice.
