Tyler Ankrum is an American stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in the No. 18 Chevrolet Silverado RST. Ankrum began his motorsports career with performances in USAC Quarter Midgets and later achieved a championship-winning season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, where he secured four victories and clinched the title. He became the first driver born in the 21st century to win a NASCAR national series race.
Ankrum has transitioned from regional circuits to national prominence, earning a win at Kentucky and the Sunoco Rookie of the Year award during his first season in the Truck Series. He has recorded multiple top-five and top-10 finishes and is recognized for his speed in practice sessions and ability to compete for victories at venues such as Las Vegas and Atlanta.
