Troy L. Love

Troy L. Love, MSW, LCSW, is a psychotherapist, educator, consultant, and keynote speaker specializing in trauma recovery, emotional wellness, and relationship counseling. Love has spent more than two decades supporting individuals navigating shame, trauma, and disconnection. He began his training in addiction recovery at Gateway Rehabilitation Center and earned a master's degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh. He also holds a certification in human resource studies from Cornell University and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources by the HR Certification Institute.

Love is the author of several books, including "Finding Peace: A Workbook on Healing from Loss, Rejection, Neglect, Abandonment, Betrayal, and Abuse" and "A Year of Self-Love: Daily Wisdom and Inspiration for Loving Yourself." His work focuses on healing attachment wounds, developing shame resiliency, and integrating spiritual principles with modern neuroscience. Love founded Finding Peace Consulting, an organization dedicated to providing resources for personal transformation and emotional resilience.

As clinical director of Yuma Counseling Services in Yuma, Arizona, Love specializes in trauma therapy, couples counseling, and treatment for compulsive and addictive behaviors. He holds additional certifications in sexual addiction treatment from Mid-Nazarene University and rapid transformational therapy, and has extensive training in EMDR, brainspotting, RTT, and emotionally focused couples therapy.

In addition to his clinical practice, Love hosts "The Finding Peace Podcast," serves as an adjunct professor at Arizona State University, and provides trainings and workshops on trauma recovery, healthy relationships, and emotional resilience. He developed the Finding Peace Model, which is used internationally to support healing and self-compassion. Love has been recognized by CIO Today for his contributions to the mental health field. Through his work as a therapist, author, educator, and speaker, Love is a prominent voice in the fields of trauma recovery, mental health, and emotional wellness.
