Trina Roffino

Trina Roffino is a marketing executive and nonprofit founder whose career spans more than two decades at the intersection of brand strategy, creative storytelling, and cultural engagement. Roffino built her professional reputation over a 25-year tenure at The Marketing Arm, an Omnicom agency known for its work with major American brands. Advancing from account supervisor to chief client officer, president, and ultimately CEO—the third in the agency's 30-year history—Roffino led The Marketing Arm to recognition for experiential marketing campaigns and creative work for clients such as State Farm, Wendy's, and Frito-Lay. Under her leadership, the agency evolved from a promotions-focused operation into a full-service creative partner with a strong emphasis on cultural strategy.

Roffino's professional accomplishments are complemented by her personal journey following the loss of her husband to suicide. She founded Project Unbroken, a Dallas-based nonprofit supporting survivors of suicide loss with financial, emotional, and spiritual resources. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese art of kintsugi, Project Unbroken is built on the philosophy that healing is possible after significant loss. The organization focuses on postvention, providing support for families after suicide—a need often overlooked in the mental health sector.

Project Unbroken received national attention with the launch of the "Beauty of Broken" campaign, developed in partnership with advertising agency Tombras. The campaign transformed survivors' stories into cinematic and artistic representations of grief and resilience, culminating in a public gallery exhibition in New York City on International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day. The initiative brought visibility to suicide loss survivors and highlighted the importance of mental health awareness and support.

Roffino has spoken publicly about navigating complex grief while leading a major agency, addressing topics such as leadership vulnerability, mental health in the workplace, and emotional honesty. She serves on the board of directors of the American Advertising Federation and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School. Roffino has been featured in Adweek, where she discussed how personal tragedy influenced her approach to work, creativity, and purpose.
