Travis L. Williams

Travis L. Williams is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker who is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Director of HBCU All-Stars LLC, an award winning Black-owned sports marketing, media, and events company dedicated to elevating visibility and impact of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, students, student-athletes, coaches, and communities. A former NCAA Division I & II head basketball coach with more than two decades of experience in collegiate athletics, Williams has dedicated his career to developing student-athletes, creating opportunities, and building pathways for the next generation of leaders. Since founding the organization in 2019 after 17 successful years of coaching alongside his wife and Co-Founder/CFO, Kya Williams, and his two children Teagan and Travis Jr. serving as youth ambassadors, Williams has led a national HBCU All-Stars movement faithfully committed to increasing Exposure, Access, Recognition, Opportunities, Resources, and Results (E.A.R. & O.R.R.)

As the creator of the nationally recognized HBCU All-Star Game Experience, Williams transformed a GOD-driven vision into a major cultural and sporting platform nationally and globally around the world celebrating HBCU excellence. His leadership has resulted in historic partnerships with CBS, CW Network, NBC Universal, Peacock, Aflac, Capital One, Intuit Turbo Tax, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Home Depot, Lowes, United Airlines, Pizza Hut, Buick, Unilever, Valero, US Army, Nike, Adidas, USA Basketball, while creating scholarships, internships, and community initiatives that positively impact students, families, and communities. A passionate speaker and advocate for education, leadership, and legacy. Williams inspires audiences with powerful messages on purpose, perseverance, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and the importance of investing in future generations.

Beyond athletics, Williams is a mentor, and philanthropist whose leadership centers on service, faith, education, and community empowerment. His commitment to creating lasting opportunities has earned him national recognition, including the President's Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding volunteer service and community leadership.

Today, Williams continues to champion the belief that HBCUs are engines of excellence, innovation, leadership, and opportunity. His mission remains clear: to ensure that talented HBCU students and student-athletes receive the visibility, investment, and opportunities they deserve while building a lasting legacy that transforms lives for generations to come.
