Tori Shaw

Tori Shaw is a pro-life speaker, author, certified biblical mental health coach, and the founder and executive director of Not Forgotten Ministries, a post-abortion healing nonprofit based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Shaw has developed a platform focused on exposing the emotional and psychological impact of abortion in contemporary culture. Her work is informed by personal experience; at age 16, Shaw became pregnant and, in an effort to conceal the pregnancy, underwent an abortion less than 24 hours after learning the news. The experience led to years of silence, during which she struggled with shame and self-medicating behaviors.

Shaw began to share her story after a friend disclosed her own abortion experience, prompting Shaw to seek healing and ultimately transform her experience into a message of forgiveness and recovery for others. She established Not Forgotten Ministries to support women seeking post-abortion healing through online Bible studies and in-person weekend retreats. The ministry also offers a mobile app that provides community and resources for individuals on their healing journey.

As an author, Shaw has written several books addressing abortion recovery and faith-based healing. Her memoir, "I Had a Secret for Seventeen Years," details her personal journey from secrecy to healing. She is also the author of "Free Indeed," a workbook guiding readers through a 10-week interactive healing process, and "Lead with Love," which serves as a guide for discussing abortion.

Shaw's speaking engagements include appearances at churches, youth groups, fundraising events, banquets, and conferences nationwide. She addresses topics such as post-abortion healing, faith-based recovery, and effective communication about abortion. Shaw's work centers on supporting women in their recovery and equipping communities to address the complexities of abortion with compassion and understanding.
