Tomi Adeyemi is a bestselling author and creative storyteller best known for her West African–inspired fantasy novels. Born and raised in Chicago to Nigerian parents, she graduated from Harvard University with a degree in African Studies and later studied creative writing in Brazil, where she began developing the world that would become her debut series.
